I grew up in a small beach town in Central California and commuted to the mountains in Lake Tahoe almost every winter weekend.
I fell in love with skiing, following my older brothers around and eventually joining a freestyle team at Alpine Meadows when I was 9. I did everything with the team, mostly romping all over the mountain and skiing epic powder because it used to snow so much on a regular basis there.
I started competing in every freestyle sport- moguls, aerials, halfpipe, slopestyle and big air but eventually decided halfpipe was what I loved most. I moved to Park City, UT in 2011 to train with the newly appointed US Ski Team. The highlights of my competitive career would involve the 2014 and 2018 Olympics where I placed 6th and 3rd, and some other favorites would be trips to Japan, Chamonix, and Canada where there are no halfpipes but deep snow and fun terrain.
I love skiing and the feeling of progression whether it be in the backcountry or in the pipe.
