The journey to ORNADA started in spring 2023 with a team shoot in Absolut Park. The shoot kicked off with MADSTEEZ creating massive painted canvases so big a snowcat was needed to move them around the mountain. The enormous panels created surreal backdrops for custom-built park features courtesy of the Absolut Park crew.

It was a super ambitious project with multiple artistic efforts on a massive scale. Madsteez custom painted an entire wall of skis made from 90 pairs of ARV 116 JJ ULs and a wallride the team hit around him in a snowstorm. It set the tone for the whole film project, helping build a vision for what ORNADA would become.
