      Product Story
The ARW 106 UL is the evolution of the long-sought one-ski quiver for the shredder who does a little bit of everything. An ultralight Caruba Core lowers the swingweight and keeps things light when boosting airs or hitting the bootpack to get that secret stash. The Smear Tech base’s edgeless beveled tips and tails help the ski effortlessly float in powder and charge through crud without deflecting while enabling a surfy feel and catch-free butters. With sizes going up to 180 and 188, we expect plenty of your guy friends looking for versatile performance with a unique, ultralight construction to pick these up as well. Chase powder, lap the park, carve up groomers and slay the bumps. The ARW 106 UL is ready for anything.

The ARW 106 UL brings in all the aspects I had been dreaming about in an all mountain and touring option. The 106 is primo number underfoot for soft groomer laps to backcountry excursions. The taper length and angle let you hammer through turns and bust through crud yet make powder turns a dream. Rocker profile allows these to float in the fresh and can't beat that Ultralite Caruba core to keep them lightweight on the uphill. Overall, in love with these skis! They are forgiving yet chargey and are just plain fun. I am 5'2" rocking the 172 and have them mounted with the Armada SHIFT 13</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2021-09-30</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2021-09-30" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="1107071413"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">5</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author" itemtype="http://schema.org/Person" itemscope><span itemprop="name">Flof</span></span> from <span itemprop="name">Obsessed.</span> <span itemprop="description">Let's be real - you NEED this ski! I've always skied the ARV 106 and am stoked to see an ARW 106 UL on the shelves. I am 5'7, 170lbs and ski on the 180s. They are the perfect all-mountain daily driver for all you hard charging ladies (and fellas) out there! The lightweight caruba core is key for slapping some shifts on there for some uphill endeavors. Plus, the surfy feel of the smear tech-ed tips and tails will be guaranteed to have you doubling your sick days. One thing's for sure, you won't be disappointed.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2021-11-11</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2021-11-11" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="1114591965"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">5</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author" itemtype="http://schema.org/Person" itemscope><span itemprop="name">Johnny</span></span> from <span itemprop="name">A great ski for guys too</span> <span itemprop="description">I picked up a pair of the ARW 106 UL in 180cm because I wanted to see how it compared to the my other skis. I initially saw it on EVO, and was wondering why Armada didn't have it listed in men's skis. I finally figured it out is was a ladies ski, but really is a unisex ski. I also own the Tracer 108 180cm and the ARV 116 JJ 185cm. I thought it handled well on groomers and had good edge hold. I didn't feel like it had a speed limit, and I tried to push it. It really shinned off piste and in the trees. It has a really easy turn initiation and is light enough for me to lift it up a swing it when I was in tight spaces. It was also great in the bumps Overall, it's a great daily driver that can do everything. I think the Tracer 108 can do everything equally as well and is even smoother on groomers. It's nice to have two great daily drivers. When it's really deep, I break out the JJ's. To me that is the best powder ski ever made. Thank you to JP Auclair and Julian Regnier. I am sad that Armada will discontinue the Tracer Series next year, but they are always on the cutting edge to something new.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2022-02-25</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2022-02-25" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="1112839061"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">5</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author" itemtype="http://schema.org/Person" itemscope><span itemprop="name">marco</span></span> from <span itemprop="name">Just an awesome ski</span> <span itemprop="description">My favorite ski in my quiver. Have put about 40 days on them this season in all manner of conditions. Awesome to carve, in the park, and in mixed conditions. When it gets steep and deep (30cm+) they don't offer the best flotation, but once the first few laps are gone they rip through the cut up snow like it's nobodies business.</span> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2022-02-08</div> <meta itemprop="datePublished" content="2022-02-08" /> </div> <div class="bvseo-review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Review" data-reviewid="1110776114"> <span itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Rating"> Rated <span itemprop="ratingValue">5</span> out of <span itemprop="bestRating">5</span> </span> by <span itemprop="author" itemtype="http://schema.org/Person" itemscope><span itemprop="name">Jake</span></span> from <span itemprop="name">I'm a guy who wants this ski</span> <span itemprop="description">My everyday ski is ARV 106 and my powder ski is an ARV 116 UL.
